About this work

Sheet with twelve scenes from the story of Fridolin, who is falsely accused by Robert. The King of Portugal orders the smith to throw the first person who enters into the oven, and sends Fridolin to him. But he escapes because he first goes to mass. Robert undergoes Fridolin's fate. Under each image an inscription in Dutch and in French. Numbered top center: n 67.
