About this work

Two girls from North Holland. The seated girl has received a small bouquet of flowers and a box of sweets from a suitor. Unnumbered. Appeared in a bound edition of the series of twenty plates of Dutch national costumes in the Batavian Republic at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, ca. 1807. Subject categories within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Clothing, National Costume, North Holland.
