About this work

Two girls from North Holland. The seated girl has received a bouquet of flowers and a box of sweets from a suitor. Fifth and final installment of four plates, published in 1807. Part of a bound edition of the series of twenty plates of Dutch costumes in the Batavian Republic at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, ca. 1807.
