New Year's greeting from the Amsterdam night watch (rattle watch) for the year 1837. Two members of the night watch walking with a rattle through a street (Reguliersbreestraat?) near the Munt in Amsterdam. With a poem in two columns. On behalf of the night watch in quarter No. 11 of the Southern Corps de Garde of the city of Amsterdam: A. Hofste, W. Riethoven, A. de Weever and J. van der Heijden.
