New Year's greeting from the Amsterdam night watch (rattle watch) for the year 1844. Two members of the night watch walking with a rattle through a street (Reguliersbreestraat?) near the Munt in Amsterdam. With a poem in two columns. On behalf of the night watch in quarter No. 30 of the Amstel Corps de Garde of the city of Amsterdam: J. Numan, J. Ravens, J. Manuel and W. Burger.
