The Hague Fair held in 1686 on the Buitenhof, with the parading civic guard from the Noyelleshuis (later Vijverhof) on the left between the stalls across the market to the gate where salute shots are fired for the princely couple watching from a window in the Stadhouderlijk Kwartier. On the right, the prince's guard on horseback is stationed in front of the Kaatsbaan and the Komedie. In the sky, two angels with the princely coat of arms of William III.
