About this work
Satirical print of a fair on a square in The Hague, 1845. The square is filled with various stalls and attractions, such as a puppet show, tightrope walkers, a magician, a carousel, etc. Everywhere groups of spectators, dancing people, caricatured characters. All parts numbered 1-82. According to an inscription, the print belongs with an explanation, but this is missing. Possibly a satirical print on The Hague politics.
