Drunken conscripts and several police officers. At the abolition of military conscription in 1898, then called 'conscriptie', where service was determined by lottery (the conscript). Subject headings within the Atlas Zeden en Gewoonten: Military Affairs; Land Army; Historical Prints. Published as 'Supplement belonging to the Illustrated Police News of 16 March 1899.' Various advertisements on the right side of the sheet.
