Capture of German soldiers outside Antwerp, on the orders of Count Alberik van Ladron, who had previously been held hostage by these soldiers, September 1570. The German mercenaries are surrounded by Spanish troops. In the background, the city of Antwerp with, on the left, a small scene of the execution of some soldiers in the citadel. With a four-line Latin inscription. Numbered: 26 (cut off). Printed on the reverse with text in Dutch. Subject headings within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Military Affairs; prints by Baudart. Eighty Years' War.
