Large map of the siege of 's-Hertogenbosch by the States Army under Frederick Henry, from May 1 to September 17, 1629. On both sides of the map, 18 small images with details of the city's fortifications and surrounding forts marked I-Z. Map composed of six plates and two missing text sheets. This is the bottom left sheet with a part of the map with the encirclement and advancing armies and soldiers. In the foreground, the exodus of the Spanish garrison.
