View of part of the garden of the Corvershof on the Nieuwe Herengracht in Amsterdam, viewed towards the Nieuwe Keizersgracht. On the right a part of the adjacent Diaconie Oude Vrouwen- en Mannenhuis. Various figures walk on the avenue. In the middle two gardeners with a basket. Part of a series of prints of the Corvershof, put into use in 1723, intended for older married couples of the Dutch Reformed (later Remonstrant) faith. Subject headings within the Atlas of Customs and Manners: Poverty and Charity.
