About this work
A man on horseback approaches with raised sword a fox lying on its back, which has been driven into a corner by dogs. Four other men run towards the animal with spears and clubs: one of them spears the fox. Behind it a fox is caught by a snare around its body. A man with a stick at the ready runs towards it.
