About this work
A man on horseback approaches a fox lying on its back, driven into a corner by dogs. Four other men run toward the animal with spears and clubs; one of them spears the fox. Behind it, a fox is caught by a snare around its body. A man with a stick raised runs toward it. In the background, a drive hunt.
