About this work

Bronze medal. Obverse: crowned woman (the Antwerp maiden), standing by an open gate in a high wall, holding the hand of a winged woman with a painter's palette under her arm with her right hand, and making an inviting gesture with her left hand; section: inscription. Reverse: coat of arms under an ox's head, surrounded by two banners, the outer one with inscription within the border.
