Issue of the satirical magazine De Notenkraker of 8 June 1907, first year, number 23. Cover with an illustration of Social Democracy sawing off the First Chamber from Democracy while Clericalism and Liberalism fight over the First Chamber. Part of a complete first year (1907). Each issue contains 8 pages, partly still not cut out, with a caricature by Albert Hahn on the front and Hahn's prints interspersed with the text on the remaining pages. In the letter 'D' of the title, a head of a so-called nutcracker is depicted.
