About this work

Issue of the satirical magazine De Notenkraker of 5 October 1907, first year, number 40. Cover illustration of a family with children on the street. In connection with the publication of a report on the right to vote. Part of a complete first year (1907). Each issue contains 8 pages, partly still uncut, with a caricature by Albert Hahn on the front and Hahn's prints interspersed with the text on the remaining pages. In the letter 'D' of the title, a head of a so-called nutcracker is depicted.
