About this work

Brochure of eight pages with the music and text of the song 'De Vlaamsche Leeuw'. On the cover the title and a lion, behind which a woman holding the Belgian flag, and a child. Inside the song against a background of a military action by the Belgian army. The following pages are blank. According to the preface by Emiel Hullebroeck, made in connection with the heroic defense of Flanders against the advancing German army in December 1914.
