About this work

Sword with floral motifs etched on the iron blade. The scabbard is of black leather with a steel chape. The pommel has a round knob at the end. The hilt is of silver and consists of a side-facing pear-shaped crossguard, a downward-pointing quillon, and a mother-of-pearl grip. In relief on the quillon, two lions on either side of a shield.
