About this work

Fragment bowl from VOC ship 'Witte Leeuw', 90% present: part of the rim missing. The bowl is reconstructed from shards with plaster. The sherd is glassy white with hardly any baked-in dirt. The glaze is blue-tinted. The base is glazed, with oblique-radial ribs; the footring stands inward and is faceted. Little oven sand found.
