About this work

Bowl (crow's head) of porcelain from VOC ship the 'Witte Leeuw', 90% present. High bowl with a spreading, scalloped lip, decorated in underglaze blue. The inner and outer wall have a division into broad and narrow fields. In the broad fields on the outside flowering plants (bamboo), fruit branches (peach) and a butterfly. On the flat a bird on a rock. Kraak porcelain in blue and white.
