About this work

Fragment of a plate from the VOC ship 'Witte Leeuw', 80% present. The sherd is glassy white. The glaze is blue-tinted. The base is glazed. The footring curves inward and is faceted. More than 20 grains of kiln sand were found. The rim is scalloped. Eight fragments glued together.
