About this work
Fragment of a plate from the VOC ship 'Witte Leeuw', 70% present; parts of the wall and center are missing. The sherd is glassy white. The glaze is blue-tinted and has pinholes and small firing cracks at the corners of the rim. The footring curves inward, is V-shaped, and faceted. The rim is scalloped. Fourteen fragments glued together and a loose fragment.
