About this work

Fragment of a plate from the VOC ship 'Witte Leeuw', 15% present. The sherd is glassy white. The glaze is blue-tinted and has pinholes and small firing cracks at the corners of the rim. The base is unglazed. The footring is straight, faceted, and curves inward. Little kiln sand was found. Lamp plate. Three fragments glued together.
