About this work

The roadstead of Surabaya with a dozen sailing ships and a steamship at anchor and various other ships moored. In the foreground left a dry bed of a stream and right low vegetation and pebbles. Part of the photo album presented by the Soerabayasche Vereeniging van Suikerfabrikanten to Frederik Beyerinck, resident of Soerabaja.
