About this work
A sugar factory with two chimneys, on the left the year 1873. On the left foreground, five Europeans stand. In the middle, three ox carts with Javanese people and one European, and on the right an ox cart with in the background at the factory several Javanese people. Part of the photo album presented by the Soerabayasche Vereeniging van Suikerfabrikanten to Frederik Beyerinck, resident of Soerabaja.
