About this work
A sugar factory with four chimneys and a drainage channel. On the right bank, five Europeans, and on the left bank, a quartet of ox carts with Javanese people. Various Javanese people sit against the factory walls. Part of the photo album presented by the Soerabayasche Vereeniging van Suikerfabrikanten to Frederik Beyerinck, resident of Soerabaja.
