Jacket of the ceremonial costume of a member of the Erewacht during the inauguration of Queen Juliana

Black frock coat with two skirts and a stand-up collar with simple gold embroidery [edge trimmed with gold thread 0.3 cm wide; embroidered branch with five leaves and six acorns on either side of the collar opening]. Cuff collar [also trimmed with gold thread and embroidered branch with six leaves and five acorns]. Front row of seven gold-colored metal buttons with decoration of ray flowers, underside with eye. Border inscription N.V. PARREE & ZONEN / UTRECHT. On the back, on either side of the split two buttons (same). Inside upper collar three metal clips for attachment of a white collar. Inside sleeve lined with white fabric with vertical stripe pattern. Both back skirts deep side pocket lined with white fabric. In the left front panel deep side pocket with a sewn label with inscription. Worn by Ernst Hartmann, member of the Honor Guard, during the inauguration of Queen Juliana on 6 September 1948.
