About this work
Silver oval drum with a hinged lid decorated with floral motifs. Without feet. A gold medal is fixed in the lid. The medal is from the Dutch Society for Agriculture (1847): 'To J. D. Preuijt', '1st prize for fat cattle', 'Exhibition: Delft Sept. 1856'.
