About this work
Beige cardboard box (separate lid and base) for the medal commemorating the third centenary of Rembrandt's birth (NG-1992-10-A). On the top of the lid, a gold-foil impression of a crown with an inscription in gold letters below it. A textile cushion on the inside of the lid. The base is lined with dark blue velvet and has a round cutout for the medal. It has a gold-colored rim and a white underside.
