Coffee urn

Large tap jug of partly blackened and partly (fire-)gilded suassa, consisting of various soldered parts. The jug has a bulbous belly, blackened, with incised decorations (along the upper edge, a band across the middle of the belly, and three patterns with flowers and leaves), furthermore three cartouches with similar relief representations of trees, branches with leaves and flowers, birds, pagodas, and people in a boat. On the underside of the jug, three legs are soldered as stylized monster heads with trunk-like legs protruding from their mouths, curling outwards. Each leg sits precisely between two cartouches on the belly. In the middle below each cartouche, a tap is soldered of gilded suassa. This is accompanied by a tap in the form of dolphins. On the round belly, a straight, snake-shaped neck is attached of gilded suassa, slightly tapering. Incised decorations are applied along the upper edge in horizontal bands.
