Some gold miners standing at the entrance of a camp on the placer (gold mining concession) of the brothers L. and F. de Jong in East Suriname. Part of the photo album Souvenir de Voyage (part 5), about the life of the Doijer family in and around the plantation Ma Retraite in Suriname in the years 1903-1910.
