A rope line in the primeval forest south of the camp of the balata tappers (balata is the resin tapped from the balata tree). Part of the photo album Souvenir de Voyage (part 5), about the life of the Doijer family in and around the plantation Ma Retraite in Suriname in the years 1903-1910.
