Double-barreled flintlock pistol

Double-barrelled flintlock pistol or doglock; part of a pair. The two locks are attached on the left and right; the right lock operates the upper barrel; the locks are engraved with foliage and have a dragon's head on the cock; fitted with an inscription. The two barrels are mounted one above the other; at the rear, relief-carved with foliage against a granular background. The stock has a grooved fore-end and the ramrod on the left. The iron furniture is unadorned, except for the trigger guard crook which is decorated in the same manner as the barrel; the buttplate is engraved with foliage; the ramrod has an iron cap.
