Double-barrelled flintlock rifled musket

The lock consists of three parts: a rear lock plate and two front lock plates, one for each barrel. The lock plate parts are decorated with floral and leafy vines, ending on the rear lock plate in a head and a dragon's head; engraved with MASTRECK. The two barrels are mounted one above the other; fitted with two filed rings; engraved at the rear with portraits and profiles of a man and a woman; the tail of the barrel is engraved with foliate work; stamped at the bottom with an unclear mark, likely a D and an M. The stock consists of two parts: the grip, carved in relief with curls around the barrel and a grip box on the right side with a sliding lid decorated with leafy vines and a rear plate of cowhorn; and the fore-end with grooved sides, one containing the ramrod; fire-marked at the bottom of the grip with a mark in the form of two curved fish above the stamped number 28.
