About this work

Powder tester in pocket format. The grip is made of cow horn; on the front there is a brass ring. The short barrel of the test mechanism is of previously gilded brass and mounted on a grooved plate that is soldered to the handle; the touch hole is on top; the barrel is signed; under the barrel a mounting plate is soldered, engraved with a foliate vine; attached to it is a wheel with the numbers 1 to 9, which extends into the flap for the breech.
