Pocket pistol with lock of General Baron Chassé

Flintlock pistol with an octagonal copper barrel, the end of which is profiled. Under the barrel a folding bayonet. The stock is diamond-grooved. The pistol has an internal lock; the iron cock, pan, and flint are located on the lock. The sides of the lock plate are shell-shaped carved from wood. The trigger guard is of iron with an incised star on the underside. On the left side of the barrel an oval with the Liège mark ELG engraved. Pistol belonging to Baron D.H. Chassé, lieutenant-general and commander-in-chief of the Citadel of Antwerp.
