About this work
Flintlock pistol with projecting iron bayonet, a smooth octagonal barrel engraved with 'L.E.G.'. Flat bronze lock plate with iron cock and flint. The stock is wooden with a carved shell motif. The butt is wooden with a ribbed grip. Two thin carved decorative lines along the entire length of the neck of the stock.
