About this work

Cavalry pistol Light Cavalry M.1815 Dutch Army, with loose ramrod. The lock has a cock with a heart-shaped recess; brass pan; the lockplate is marked with a crowned S and the number 15, on the inside with VID. The barrel is marked at the bottom with F, H and 12; the tail of the barrel is engraved with M.1815. The stock has a curved grip. Most parts of the brass furniture are stamped with an F; FD is stamped on the barrel band around the muzzle with two strips and an integrated front sight; further there is an L-shaped screw plate, a wide trigger guard and a stock cap; the steel ramrod has a conical head and a loop at the handle.
