Flintlock pistol for the Light Cavalry, Dutch Army, Model 1815

Cavalry pistol Light Cavalry M.1815 Dutch Army. The lock has a cock with a heart-shaped recess; brass pan; the inside of the lockplate is marked with HP and 41. The barrel is marked at the bottom with LR and stamped on the left at the rear on the upper side with the year 1815; the tail of the barrel is marked with A 54 (crossed out) and engraved with M.1815. The stock has a curved grip; branded with a large, round arsenal stamp, a W with undecipherable text around it and the year 1815. The brass furniture includes, among other things, a barrel band around the muzzle with two strips and a front sight, an L-shaped screw plate, a wide trigger guard and a stock cap marked with A 54 18 (A 54 crossed out); no provision for a ramrod.
