Flintlock pistol converted into a rifle

Flintlock pistol converted to a rifle; in Empire style. The front part of the lock is very long; the cock is engraved with a cornucopia, the lockplate with a swan and a signature. The Damascus barrel is browned and flares out at both front and rear; stamped at the rear with the coat of arms of Amsterdam and engraved with the signature; fitted with an iron rear sight, a silver front sight and a sliding barrel tang. The stock has a curved grip that ends in a flat butt cap; the grip is cross-hatched and inlaid with silver studs. The silver furniture includes, among other things, a blued thumbplate with an engraved, stylized flower calyx, and a forked trigger guard engraved with amorini, as is the cheek plate under the butt cap; the whalebone ramrod is fitted with a cowhorn cap and an iron ring.
