About this work

Four glasses in a wooden frame. Far left: 'a baker', standing kneading dough with an oven behind him. To the right of that: 'a tailor', sitting on a table sewing a jacket. To the right of that: 'a carpenter', sitting on a beam he is working on with a hammer and chisel. Far right: 'a mason', kneeling with a trowel at a low wall next to a bucket of mortar, and in the background another man carrying materials in a basket.
