Walking sword M 1912 of reserve officer D. Schipper

Wall saber M 1912 with steel scabbard and saber tassel. The blade has a diamond-shaped cross-section on a steel ricasso. The scabbard is of steel and has two loose fittings and a drag plate. The hilt is of copper and has a downward-pointing knuckle guard with a lion's head at the end. In the center of the knuckle guard a downward oval-shaped quillon. The side quillon ends in the pommel which has the shape of a lion's head. The grip is of ebony and wrapped with braided copper wire. The saber tassel hangs from a brown cord and consists of textile and gold-colored copper wire. In the center of the saber tassel an orange cockade.
