About this work

Steel cavalry saber of reserve officer D. Schipper. Steel scabbard with a loose ring to which a yellow saber tassel hangs on a brownish-yellow cord. The blade has a fuller and is engraved with motifs and the name of the manufacturer. The hilt has a closed knuckle guard with six bars. On the ricasso hallmarks. The grip is ribbed and of leather.
