Photo album about opium smuggling. Cover of cardboard covered with thin brown-black leather. The album contains 24 leaves of brown cardboard with a total of 135 photographs on the cultivation, use, and smuggling of opium in the Dutch East Indies. Additionally, photographs of police posts, crimes, traffic accidents, forensic pathology, and faces in Surabaya. The photographs may have been made for the police archive. The police photographs contain captions. The album was presented on behalf of Police Commissioner Jacobs to Mr. Sijtze Koster upon his appointment as Inspector-Deputy of the General Police in Surabaya on 24 July 1930.
