About this work

Photo album with a beige linen cover and a red leather lace through the spine. Closure at the front of metal, the tab is broken. The contents contain 24 sheets of dark brown cardboard, of which the last six are partially empty. The album contains a total of 53 photographs and postcards. Parchment between the pages. The album begins with photos from 1938 in Germany. In May 1940 follows the invasion in the Netherlands, with photos of Rotterdam, the Moerdijk bridge, etc. Then one travels through Belgium and France with photos of prisoners of war from the British colonies. Some photos have inscriptions written in Sütterlin on the back.
