About this work
German soldiers in an aircraft, probably a Junker 52. The soldier on the left has binoculars around his neck. On the back of the photo it states that they are on their way to The Hague on 10 May 1940: Am 10.Mai auf dem Wege nach Den Haag im Holland. Although we have already had the first anti-aircraft fire behind us, no one yet knows what awaits us.
