About this work

German soldiers, infantrymen, in the hold of a fighter aircraft, a Junkers 52. All wear field caps, have binoculars around their necks, and carry rifles. In the back, part of their equipment lies. Presumably the first troops to occupy the Netherlands on or after May 10, 1940.
