Album page with six photos. Centrally a view of the Plant and Animal Garden (founded in 1864) in Batavia. Above three portraits of Javanese men, at the bottom two photos of professions. Part of the second green photo album with photos of Java, from the collection of pharmacist Specht-Grijp, who returned to the Netherlands from Batavia in 1865.
