About this work
Pyramus and Thisbe in a landscape with a fountain. Thisbe discovers her dying beloved Pyramus and commits suicide with his sword. Pyramus has stabbed himself, thinking that Thisbe had been killed by a lion. In the background, the lion runs. A Latin text in the lower margin. The fragment with the dying Pyramus is missing.
