About this work

Flag of the Kingdom of Naples. White flag with two mermaids as supporters on either side of a shield bearing four yellow fleurs-de-lis beneath a red chief, the shield crowned with a royal crown. Two flags issue from the shield: on the left, a white and blue checkered diagonal; on the right, three black lions passant on a yellow field. Flag on flagstaff and masthead. Depicted on folio 24r. Part of a flag book containing flags from Europe, North Africa, the Near East, and the Far East.
